Many times we can be found laughing or crying with one another at the store. I could not be more grateful for the support of my family and friends. I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road? We call this part of our business Midwest Redesigned and offer classes as well as private time to chat with our customers. As a stockist for many years, I enjoy recreating furniture pieces for our customers as well as assisting them in picking out what they need to redesign for their own homes. I found the perfect line to support what I love and complement the store in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. While running the store and supporting an amazing downtown definitely keeps me busy, I also love painting. Our designers range from the midcentury, primitive, farmhouse, elegant and rustic designs. We offer locally-made pillows, lighting, and signs. As the second owner I have been here for more than 13 years, the store is over 10,000 sq ft and offers designed spaces from over 70 unique and talented people. It was primarily an antique store among many and has evolved into a fantastic vintage-inspired home decor shopping experience.
